Start A Fire With A Gum Wrapper And A Battery

September 13, 2018

GumWrapper_Fire_Method

Starting a fire with the primitive way is hard work and time consuming. If you chew gum and have a flash light in your pack you could start a fire and have a way to cook, keep warm and boil water. So maybe consider keeping a pack of gum in your pack for this and to keep moral high in times of need.

I found this great article that explains how to do this and has a video to watch too.  It’s not as easy at it looks so  I would recommend watching the video before you try this. This may not be a practical way to start a fire but in an emergency situation, anything is better than nothing. This is so simple, why didn’t I think of this.
