Check out our awesome Facebook page and stay up to date with what's new!

First off, I am going to tell you this technique is tricky to master. That said, with some patience, midday sun and some good tinder material such as the char-cloth used in the video, this can be done.

As with all fire starting techniques it is vital you are patient and know exactly what you are doing. Rushing things or skipping steps will only result in frustration and failure. Learn the technique and take your time with the process.

i have a pill bottle packed with dryer lint in my all of my bags. all you have to do is tear off a dime sized piece of lint, pinch it with between your pointer fingers and thumbs 4 or 5 times and hit it with a spark and it will instantly light, it also burns fairly slow so it will start dry grass that got wet in the rain, after shaking off excess water of course. remember to keep practicing your fire building skills, they are perishable.
