Dandelions are a rich source of the vitamins A, B, C, and D, as well as minerals such as iron, potassium, and zinc. Additionally dandelion leaves and roots have numerous medicinal properties, treating a whole range of ailments and conditions.

Back when I lived in a town in Texas, we didn’t have dandelions in our yard. Thankfully, our next door neighbor allowed us to harvest their dandelions. We ate salad and drank tea until their yard was dandelion free also..
One suggestion though. Always wash the leaves, especially if there are dogs in the neighborhood. -smile, wink-
