DIY Bubble Wrap Window Insulation

Last week we did a post: Cheap DIY Energy-Saving Thermal Curtains, the post was so popular and it had so many comments on the Facebook page, that I just knew I needed to do another post on low cost DIY window insulation.

This couldn’t really be simpler – all you need is the bubble wrap some scissors or a knife and a spray bottle full of water. Just cut the bubble wrap to fit the window, spray the window with water and then place the bubble wrap on the damp window to fit. The bubble wrap should then stay in place for several weeks/months.  If it comes unstuck, just give the glass another spray of water and re-fit.
